Where were you?
That's the question you'll need to ask yourself at the end of this
season..."Where you were you when Penn State returned to Glory?"
I think many of you PSU fans will probably say, that the OSU game was
the moment that turned it all around. Some others will say the
win against Minnesota was perhaps that defining moment, that moment
when Penn State beat it's first ranked team in nearly 3 years. I
think there might even be a few to bring Northwestern into the equation
marking the Lions first win on the road since 1999. If you ask me
though, "Steve, Where were you when Penn State returned to Glory?" I
think I'd have to simply say...they never left!
I really have no voice left so it's probably better that I'm writing to you all as opposed to trying to talk to you. I've screamed almost non-stop for the past 4 hours, coaching, congratulating, but most of all supporting my Lions in their 17-10 win over Ohio State. We're now a 6-0 team...no no...a respected 6-0 team! I don't want to get too cocky because we've got a touch schedule left, but we've shown that we can win at home, we can win away, we can win when we're favored and we can win when we're not so favored (Corso/Herbstreit, you can kiss my PSU ass!), I think most of all we've shown that Ol' JoePa has a few more seasons left in him!
