I put up the pictures from this past weekends events...you can find them over on webshots
along with other various stills of our lives. You'll notice at
the end of the string of photos there's a few shots that are out of
place... On our way home from PA, I noticed a car sitting in a
parking lot and had noticed it on previous trips, but always just
thought it looked similar to the one I was thinking of. This time
I decided to stop and take a look at it. After wondering for a
few minutes looking for the proof I needed, I had it...it was my old
Chevy S-10 blazer. I traded that car in almost three years ago
nearly 3 hours away, yet it managed to migrate itself to a pawn shop on
my way home from PA. It's in much worse shape then when I turned
over the keys (well at least one set of the keys
) but still had a
lot of the tell tale features I remember. The trailer hitch my
uncle and I installed was still there, the missing bow-tie emblem, the
gouge in the steering wheel and the CD player I had. It was a
nice trip down memory lane. I bet I could pick that puppy up
cheap, but I know Joni would flip out... You have to admit though
it'd be fun to have a car that I could just beat the crap out of.
Push other cars out of my way, take a hard right off the highway to
make a shortcut...I'll keep workin her!
