It has come to my attention that I didn't post yesterday...shame on me!  I was doing so good.  I did have a topic I wanted to discuss, but somehow it just slipped my mind, and even now...it still slips my mind..
Anyway, you all know just how much running I've been doing.  I had an epiphany, although I really can't take credit for it.  I've never been much of a runner, I only would run when chased (as Bill says), but being a big guy, few people would stupid enough to confront or chase me so it was never really necessary.  The point is, I don't know the first thing about running the right and wrong way...I just kind of pick it up as I go.  Complain about a pain to a runner and they'll tell you how not to get it.  So it started off with immensly sore leg muscles...everyone I talked to said I wasn't stretching enough so I stretched more and viola, run a mile and fell little or no burn the next morning.  Lately I had been complaining about cramps in my side, my russian co-worker said it was because I ate before I ran.   I do...makes me feel better to eat then burn, then burn then eat; psychological I guess.  So I continued doing it my way and continued to get the cramps.  Well, in talking to Mingos this past weekend I told him about the cramps and there came that "Don't eat (or drink to much) before running" thing.  So I tried it today, and I'll be damned.  I ran 1.5 miles straight, for about two minutes I thought I was going to get the cramp, but after one deep breath, gone!  and when I got back to work, I wanted to keep going.  So I am putting this out there, I don't care if my inbox gets flooded (it's filtered pretty good so I'm not too worried about SPAM).  If you have any good tips on how to run correctly or what NOT to do when running, email them to me.  Include a reason why or why not to do whatever, otherwise I'll think you are full of it.
Oh and before I go.....Hector, I'm going to beat your ass in raquetball tonight! (You IBM folk can pass that along)
