No Graduation

12/06/05 @ 2:01 pm · By Steve Hoffman · Comments (1) · Leave one
Well,  it's official...there will be no graduation ceremony for the 50 or so graduates from the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus.  Joni and I have decided to write a letter to their CEO vowing never to donate a penny to that campus and we'll no longer promote the Wilkes-Barre campus as a good place to go.  This is rather unfortunate considering the two of us met there, but I think on principal it is what needs to be done.  I think it's absolutely ridiculous to not honor the students with a graduation ceremony after all their hard work.  I think the role of the campus has changed from one where the campus supports the students to one where the students are forced to support the campus.  I already don't like the new CEO of that campus.  Sorry Scott, you're definitely getting screwed!

On a positive note...well there isn't really a positive note on that matter.  We'll still be going to PA for over a week, however and I am looking forward to that!

Too bad the school chose to deny the graduates a ceremony. Sorry to hear it. Give the school prez heck. GSU managed to do it. See article and smiles of grads.
