It's truly amazing what a difference 1 second can make!  1 second separated Penn State from a perfect season...well as far as wins and losses are concerned.  In all reality they had far from a "perfect" season.  Last night's hard-fought battle was a great ending to an even greater season!  Joni and I watched the entire game and didn't get to bed until nearly 2 this morning.  We started out at Oh Mulligans, but after half time (and us not winning a damn thing) we sped home to catch the second half in the comfort of our recliners.  I'm glad we did too, we wouldn't have gotten home until 2:30 had we stayed.  If you saw the game then you know just how emotional it was.  This was two teams, each with something to prove and in the end, I guess Penn State edged out the 'noles by just a 3rd overtime field goal in by less then a foot.  It so intense I could barley watch...but I did.  I'm looking forward to next season, where I don't think we'll be quite as good, but I don't expect to ever be as bad as last year!

This whole thing got me thinking about showing my PSU pride and how NC currently does not have a PSU alumni plate.  Well I'm hoping to get the drive to get one a little more exposure and will post all the information you need here.  You can find the official site for the push here on the alumni page
but all you need to know is that NC requires 300 people commit to purchase before they'll produce one.  As of July 05 they were at 250 names.  I'd imagine they're that much closer, but the Alumni page hid the NC link so I emailed the webmaster to get that corrected.  If you live in NC, and are a member of the PSU Alumni Association AND want to show your school spirit with an Alumni License plate, then send an email with your Name, Phone Number and Email address to Tim Brady of the Charlotte Chapter at NTLION83@aol.com expressing your interest!
