It's once again time for the trade show in Orlando and things couldn't be crazier at work.  I've been running around in circles trying to get everything ready for the show including a server to take down in case the internet sucks again...Hopefully we won't need it, but better safe then sorry.  I went out to get the required dress pants and to my delight I got a pair of Dockers wrinkle free khakis from Hecht's for $9.99...unfortunately the other pair was still $29.99..but the $40 total was a hell of a lot better then the $60 I was expecting. 

I should have known that my luck wouldn't hold out though...I went to Victoria's Secret and bought Joni her favorite perfume for Christmas.  I looked for the bottle at home to see how much she had left, but I couldn't find it so I assumed it got used up.  Well The day before Christmas I saw that she in fact did have a bottle of it..and it was almost completely full.  So I just figured we'd exchange it for something else she wanted.  Somewhere in the commotion of Christmas I lost the receipt, but didn't realize that until last night.  I explained the predicament to the clerk and she was understanding, but could only exchange at the current price...more then $30 less then I paid for it.  Fat chance!  So I called my credit card company to see if they had a copy of the receipt they could fax/mail to me only to find out that they don't do that anymore.  The credit card company just takes the merchant's word that I did sign the slip and charges me for it.  The only bright side is the original store I bought it at is willing to comb through register slips to try to find the receipt since I can narrow it down to a date, time and amount...we'll see what happens.
