Myrtle Beach
Well, we're having an awesome time in Myrtle Beach. Mark and I
went and played a round of Golf today and, although I'm no where near
my PSU days as a golfer, I could see glimpses of the way things used to
be. I think I par'd 5 or six holes, but still ended up at 96 on a
par 74. I'll take that right now. If I had the time and
money to go more regularly I think I'd have no problem getting back
down to my low 80's I enjoyed in high school and college. The
highlight of the round was that I only lost one ball...with what felt
like an ocean right next to me...and I have fallen in love with the
Nike Mojo ball...I bought a two pack because someone recommended it to
me and I just love the way it feels, so I bought a large pack...sorry
Pinnacle. If we have enough time and the weather cooperates then
we may go out for another round tomorrow, but as it stands now it's not
looking good. For one...I'm drunk...not like hammered...but to the
point that I've switched to water in fear of a splitting headache
tomorrow.
I've been boozin since around 5...so for the past 7 hours I've been enjoying myself...yesterday was no different really, but how often do I really get to sit down and enjoy the nectar from the heavens? In the words of the immortal browneye...I'm a drunk, not an alcoholic...alcoholics go to meetings!
