Company shindig
We're having a company shindig tonight, and the CEO is buying the
beer..but I have to give him credit for doing it smart...since there's
no families allowed I can't drink nearly as much so I can safely drive
home. I teased them and told them I'm going to get hammered and
make Joni sit outside and take me home..they laughed, but I don't dare
say that to her; I'm no dummy.
We had our developers meeting yesterday and we all went over what we were working on and wouldn't you know that when the time came to me I couldn't think of a damn thing I had done recently...I've been so busy I can barely squeeze time in to blink and when it comes time to brag about it...I had nothing...well, one or two things, but they seemed so minor at the time. I guess it's because I don't really brag about the duties I perform that are not job related, maybe that would have filled in what I do each day, but I know there's been so much crap going on it would make you sick. If not for Bill, I'd probably have forgotten the two I did mention (through his hinting). Maybe it's old age...
Speaking of which, my dad turned a year older yesterday, we called and sang him Happy Birthday and chit chatted for a while. All is going well with them and even the rest of the family is doing well. Uncle Greg finally sold his house! If it didn't go in the next few weeks I'd have bought the damn thing..so I'm glad it sold! Can't think of much else, perhaps it's cause it's so early in the morning...
