I remember two years ago when I first started at this company, I barely had anything to do...I kind of miss those days...I kept kidding myself in saying that in just a few months XXX would happen and then things would go back to normal..well in the two years...XXX has happened only to make me that much busier with no sign of slowing down.  We were told in a meeting a few weeks back that my company was in negotiations with another company to take over their IT infrastructure and that much of that responsibility would fall on my shoulder...Bill read that as I may get my IT Manager position, while I read that as "Here's more stuff to do..on top of everything else you do...oh and no money for a raise".  We'll see who's right.  I think today was the first day that I've had a few minutes to catch my breath (mainly because I know there's something I have to do, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is) and relax.  This is of course merely the quiet before the storm as I'll be in 10th gear this week and next making preparations for the release of 5.2.  I guess it's better being that busy though..not really much time to reflect on how much working sucks!
