Thoughts on Vegas

I don't really know how to put this with out pissing off all the lovers of Las Vegas...I really wasn't impressed.  That's not to say that I didn't have a good time, but it's just not for me.  I'd much rather spend a weekend skiing at a kick ass resort or playing a few rounds of golf then losing money to a casino.  Now as for what we did...well, we did a lot, we just about covered EVERY casino on the strip and played a few bucks at each of them.  We took in a few shows, "O" at Bellagio and The Blue Man Group at the Venetian, both shows I'd highly recommend!  We road the roller coaster at NY, NY, saw the "Song of the Sirens at TI (formerly Treasure Island, but I guess they're re-branding or something) and most of the other cliche things to do in LV.  We gambled our fair share and naturally lost a few bucks..but we came back with just about half the money we set aside for gambling so I think it's safe to say we lost about $400..and not all of it was gambling...cab rides, meals, souvenirs and tips (that's probably $50 right there).  So not too bad I guess...like I said...we probably won't be back there any time soon, and when we do go back, it'll be to see the Hoover damn and Grand Canyon and maybe some of the "off the strip" places.  Ok..gotta go beat Joni into posting the remaining Vegas pictures...
