Making a few changes

I'm going to be re-writing a few sections of my website, mainly the main page to try some new technology.  Well I suppose it's not that new, but it's new to me (and no Bill, it's not Ruby on Rails...LONG LIVE PHP!!!).  It won't affect anything you see, but when it's finished it should make the page load faster...not that it's that slow now, but we'll see.  I haven't worked a bit on the movie db in the past two weeks.  I'd like to say I'm stuck, but I'm really not..just lazy.  Work is so damn crazy that by the end of the day I look at my laptop and shudder.  From what I understand work is only going to get crazier so that's not making me feel any better.  The only light in my very long, very dark tunnel is that today's my 2 year anniversary so as soon as my boss gets back I should be getting my annual review which had better lead to a raise or it will lead me elsewhere.

Enough about work though, my buddy Jeremy is getting married April 1 and I want to go to the wedding, but Joni can't get the weekend off of work due to their mandatory Saturday work schedule until April 7th.  I could go alone, but I feel bad leaving Joni behind; a wedding just seems like something she should be there with me for.  Either way I need to make up my mind quickly here as Jeremy already reserved me a room at the hotel.  It really wouldn't cost much considering the plane ticket is nearly free (provided I make my mind up before they all sell out).  I'm just looking at the car rental cost for the weekend, but even that's relatively affordable.  I dunno, Joni and I will talk a little more about it tonight.  Is it acceptable for me to go alone?
