No..it wasn't me..this time anyway.  One of my esteemed collegues was kind enough to run rm -rf /usr/ for me on one of our development boxes while I was 400 miles away in WV.  Needless to say when I dropped down from the mountain back into civilization (I use that term loosly, remember I'm still in WV at this point) my phone starts going ape-shit with emails and voicemails etc.  It's almost backup and running now, just need him to ok a few more changes and we're off and running. 

As for my weekend, it was great.  We had nice weather for skiing (or swimming for that matter) and got to make several runs down the mountain.  The kids were great, we had no problems, but the best part was that Joni not only tried skiing, but she also liked it!  I'm so excited, now we can get her outfitted with some gear and start going more often.  This will round out our year quite well, we have jet skis in the summer and skiing in the winter.  We just need some past times to fill in spring and fall and we'll be set!  I'll have to see how the whitewater rafting trip goes this fall...maybe that's the ticket!
