Fist Fest!

We had an awsome time at the hockey game last night.  It was kind of a last minute thing, but I got tickets to see the Carolina Hurricanes battle the Washington Capitols at the RBC center.  We didn't exactly have the best of seats...in fact we were one row from the worst seats, but we had a damn good time none the less.  Joni finally got to see a hockey fight too..she actually got to see four of them; and good ones too at one point they were cleaning blood off the ice.  It ultimately came down to a sudden death overtime and Carolina snuck one past the Cap's goalie to win it 6-5 and the crowd went wild!  My throat's still a little hoarse from all the yelling.  I'll get the pictures up tonight if I can remember.

We got crappy news from Joni's company yesterday...seems the trend of working weekends isn't over only now it's not "structured".  They are requiring Joni to get an extra 10 hours of overtime in per week, but since it's on her schedule they've weaseled out of buying lunches and dinners.  We're trying to take it in stride, but this is starting to get in the way of our personal lives.  It probably wouldn't piss me off so much if I didn't know that the project manager for this release that's so far behind schedule, doesn't have to work the extra hours like the team she's leading, not to mention that there's no sign of them getting anything in return for their extra effort.  I can only imagine what it's doing for morale at her company.

Bill, here's where I would put stuff about our company.  I assure you it would be interesting and NOT boring, but it could also come back to bite me in the ass...so deal with it!
