Today is the day of our 2nd annual potluck for work.  Last years was great, this year is sure to be better!  I got up at 5:30 this morning...well the alarm was set for 5:30 this morning, I got up at 6am to start preparing Ono chicken.  I have to admit..I felt like a fool BB-Qing chicken as the sun rose, especially since the high schooler's bus stop is right out our back door, but screw 'em; I'm sure their mouth's were watering!  So I'm now at work, on time I might add, the only thing is I worked practically non-stop from 8am until 1am, eating lunch on the fly and taking breaks only for travel time.  So I'm damn tired right now...like can't keep my eyes open tired.  I can't say it wasn't worth it though...the whole consulting gig is more profitable then the normal job, albeit less frequent.  I think I'll put half the money from yesterday in the bank and buy something stupid with the rest (even though I'll probably end up putting it all in the bank since I hate spending money). 

Well, TGIF as they say..I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend since I think our wine tasting festival will be rained out (which also eliminates Jet Skiing).  I just hope for enough time to mow the lawn then it can pour all it wants!  We have a few landscapers coming over this weekend and into next week to give estimates on an automatic sprinkler system.  I am going to conquer that damn grass yet!!!
