Thank you all for pointing out that I'm a raging slack-oholic for not posting this week.  I've had so much to say, but almost no time to say any of it.  Work is certainly keeping me busy these days.  A word of advice to all of you thinking about taking a promotion...I think it's just a clever way to get you to work twice as many hours for effectively half the money in a quarter the alotted time.  Anyone who works a straight 40 hour week sucks!  I've not seen 40 since I left IBM and since I've become the IT Manager I don't think I've seen less then 70 hours a week.  Enough bitching...it's been a great week!  The Hurricanes are the Stanley cup champs and I got my boneless honey BBQ bites from Walmart (they are simply amazing!) so what else could I possibly want? 

Our second anniversary came and went and it was great for the both of us, Joni finally got to enjoy Magiano's and got her new cellphone.  For her present I had to find something that was cotton or china, but since I'm a traditional guy I went with the cotton and found the company that sells robes to the Waldorf Astoria hotel and got her an Egyptian cotton robe.  It's so soft and fluffy...I think she loves it.  I got a Carolina Hurricanes AUTHENTIC jersey!  I wore it the night they won and the next day to work!  I can't wait for the next season to start and we get our season tickets!!!  Anyway, I'm going to get some more work done so I don't have as much to do at home.  I plan on going to the driving range anyway..unless it doesn't stop raining.
