Soon she'll be mine!

I ordered my truck last night and with any luck it should be here by weeks end.  This is good because Joni's last finaly is Tuesday and with a new toy, she'll have no problem getting me out of the house!  I ordered the Traxxas T-maxx which is, in my opinion, the most bad-ass  of the RC trucks.  It's fully loaded with reverse, a two speed transmission (in both forward and reverse), several inches of shock travel, and a motor capable of speeds over 40+ MPH.  I really can't wait for it to get here, with all the construction going on around here, it'll be no problem to find a place to play with it!

Tonight is our last dance lesson, and I'm pretty excited about it, I've gotten fairly good at the "Nightclub 2-step" and we're even considering learning one more dance before the wedding, although I wouldn't know what type to take.  Any suggestions?
I hate to get political on everyone...you know; let my republican colors show through, but I've got to say something.  I was listening to the radio this morning while sitting in 45 minutes of trafic (yeah, wasn't happy about that) and a story came on about some junior in high school that is running for class president and on his campaign poster put something to the effect of: I'm gay, elect blah blah for class president.  Well the school didn't take to kindly to that so they took the poster down...and now he is suing the school for violating his freedom of speech.  He has since been ridiculed by fellow students and faculty and the ACLU had jumped in to "protect" his violated rights...
My issue; since when do 16/17 year olds have all these rights...It's already been established that you have no right to privacy in school, so what makes him think that his freedom of speech applies?  Can you swear in class?  Can you stand up and start filibustering in the middle of class?  I think not!  It seems to me that this kid is flaunting his sexuality in school, if I were the rest of the school, I'd sue his queer ass for violating their right not to feel uncomfortable in school (not that it's a right granted by the constitution, but it is through various state and federal harrassment statutes).  IANAL, but I'd probably go the route that all those fuckers took with not having to say the pledge of allegiance in schools.  Make their own extreme leftist precedent work against them!  I don't want to sound like some sort of elitist, but you know what...every body gets there feelings hurt, so your attempt to get elected out of sympathy or whatever you were going for didn't work...get over it...
