Too Much Fun!

Didn't think that was possible, but I believe that this past weekend was one of the most action packed we've had in a while.  We went up to Kerr Lake in Clarksville, VA with Joni's Aunt and Uncle and we had a blast!  We did all things water related (including abusing our bodies being drug around behind a boat) and didn't think once about work!  Just what the doctor ordered if I do say so myself.  It was sad to leave, knowing that they'd have the house for the rest of the week (and knowing that I have an unspoken for week of vacation on the books), but we made it home in once piece.  Joni's Aunt and Uncle should be coming down tomorrow for dinner and drinks and what not so that should be fun.

Naturally I paid for taking a day off from work with being buried in crap to take care of.  I was able to get caught up in one day, which is rare..usually it takes twice the amount of time I took off to get caught up.  I guess it was a slow Monday?

We'll have to run out tonight to get some groceries for tomorrow, but I think compared to yesterday, tonight will feel like we're back on vacation..if only we were!
