Dad, I owe you
So yet again, I was able to use the knowledge I reluctantly picked up over the years by my father forcing me to work along side of him when I'd wrather just watch TV or hang out with friends. We've had a problem with the Durango for a while now, that the power driver seat was cheaply made to say the least. A cast aluminum part that they threw in to raise and lower the seat gave way before we even owned the car, but it was minor. Over the years it has gotten progressively worse to the point where I almost don't feel safe driving the car. Well, that's no longer an issue. I spent the better part of this morning taking the drivers seat out and getting the piece welded, well it's now done and stronger then ever. For good measure I had him weld the other side too, just to be sure! So the total cost for this repair was a whopping $40, compared to what it would have cost to get the parts from Dodge: $400. I'll buy you dinner at uncle Greg's wedding
