With all the talk of Hurricane Katrina and our hurricane season not quite over, I started thinking about how safe our data is...we currently have data protection to the degree that we can lose drives and keep on trucking, but if an emergency happened and we had limited time and space to take stuff the computers are a little bulky when all we want is the data on them.  So I'm waiting on my new 300GB hard drive to arrive tomorrow so I can start backing up my data to it.  Then if something happens we can just grab the drive and run.  It'll be housed in a USB enclosure (well firewire/USB) and I'll just set up a cron job to run every night.  We have literally thousands of pictures that I just don't think we can replace as there's just too many memories in there.  You might want to consider the safety of your data too...unless of course it's sitting on my server
