I suppose things are looking up for us.  After the basic diagnosis, the shop agreed with me that it's the head gasket.  He'll know more when the actually get it all apart, which he assured me would be later this afternoon.  Since the car has never overheated, the shop owner thinks that little if any damage was done, and we're just victims of a shitty gasket.  Not my luck, but I'll try to remain positive.  We car-pooled to work today and if the cavalier dies, then we'll just keep doing it until we figure out what we are going to do.  I don't even want to think about another car payment...that would mean two car payments and a mortgage, no thanks! 
    Since I left work early yesterday, I still have to go down and exchange rings, morons.  While we are over there, I want to rid by our dirt mound and see how little progress is happening.  I keep checking UPS's website but the bastards are not nearly as real time as they would have you believe.  I'm sure my package went out for delivery today, but the site hasn't been updated since 7:30pm last night.  Although their site says it was updated ten minutes ago...  I know it is out for delivery so I'm not worried about it...they are the ones who should be worrying if they don't get it out for delivery. 
    How could I forget!?!?!  We got our internet access boosted last night...and I must say, IT SCREAMS!  I download at over 300KB/s (that's a capital K) up from ~160KB/s and we upload at about 45KB/s up from under 30KB/s.  Was it worth the nickle drop in internet charges?  Absulutely!  Not to mention I now have a static IP which kicks ass, but I'll have to restart the internet to be sure..and I don't want to do that until I'm home to make sure it comes back up.
