That's right...our Avalanche now plays DVD's on the navigation screen...and the sound comes over the stereo in Dolby Digital!  I have to say..I'm damn good!  Joni almost freaked when she came home and saw the dashboard in a million pieces with wires everywhere and some strange tools out...like a saw, a dremel etc.  I made her help me so she could warm up to the idea of the car being disassembled, and mangled as I made room for our new gadgets. It took roughly 6 hours to install...but I have to admit it looks damn good!  I have to order one more switch for it since I can't find it locally...it's $1.40 and $3.00 shipping...hardly worth charging..but I need it.  Anyway, it'll be a fun trip to western NC this weekend!
