So I've gone and done a bit of upgrading and to be honest..the Dr is still out...

I upgraded my laptop to Windows Vista and Office 2007 and while it looks cool (like a theme I once installed for XP) I don't really see anything yet that says..."hey, you need this!" but we'll give it a few days and see how it grows on me.  I have noticed that it takes considerably longer to boot my machine, which is no slouch...I was pleased (and surprised) to see that my video card was supported, but the installation took 9GB of space...just for the OS...my lord! 

Ok..wife is summoning me to bed..and since it's 11 minutes past my bedtime...I'm out!
