Safe and sound

Well, I'm safe and sound in good ole' NEPA (that's North East PA for those not in the know).  I know you all want to see the pictures of our trip to Orlando..and I assure you I want to post them...really I do, but I honestly haven't had a single free minute to do so.  I will however tell you all about it!

The trip was a complete success!  We took Friday off of work and flew down to Orlando Thursday night.  The hotel we stayed in was nice, but for what we paid I hate them nickel and diming me for every thing else.  Nothing was included in the price of the room...no continental breakfast, no high speed internet, I'm honestly surprised they didn't charge me for the towel to use the swimming pool.  I guess the one nice thing they had was free water taxi service from the hotel to citywalk.  Although it was a whopping half mile walk so I'd rather they saved the money on gas and didn't try to charge me $50 (per person) for a luau.  We did everything there was to do and Joni even managed to get on a few rides, especially at Universal Studios.  I guess there really isn't much that a pregnant woman can do at any theme park, so we should be thankful for what we could do.

I haven't posted the pictures yet, but I'm sure when I do, there will be a few of me giving in and having a few fruity drinks...I'm not ashamed to admit it.  I think I had a blue hawaii, a tropical eruption and half a dozen margaritas!  Sadly I only got drunk once..and it wasn't even drunk more like buzzed, but with that buzz, Mark and I decided to hit Islands of Adventure 30 minutes before they closed and ride the Hulk...after that we decided to haul ass to the extreme opposite side of the park to re-ride the dueling dragons!  It was awesome, but the speed-walking killed my buzz and despite my attempts to get it back, I came up short...so probably over $200 in alcohol and didn't get drunk once!

Anyway, I'll get them pictures posted..maybe even tonight (if I can convince my loving wife to go get me the camera and memory card reader).  Ooh, I think my next post will be on our trip to State College PA on Tuesday! Had to stock up on my PSU gear, and we got a lot of great stuff for Zack!
