So, not a whole hell of a lot happening today...I'm basically bored off my ass right now and my legs are so sore that I'm going to forego a run and let them recover.  I did have a trouble call come in this morning and have found and verified the resolve, unfortunately the guy isn't going to hear what I have to tell him.  One of his employees can't send email when she gets home on her earthlink dial-up account, who the hell (besides my parents) uses them anymore anyway?  She can receive mail just fine, but gets an error when she tries to send it.  I sat and watched the logs fly by as I instructed this guy to access the SMTP mail server only to find that he can not connect to me on port 25, but has no problem connecting to any other ports.  This is really going to piss him off to find out that earthlink, in all their wisdom, decided to block any and all access to port 25 at their proxy level, unless its going to their server; smpt.earthlink.net.  This isn't a big deal, we can just change the server over right?  Wrong!  When she takes her laptop to work and uses a LAN, all is well in connecting to us, but if she changes mail servers, then it will refuse the email because it is coming from a domain outside of earthlink's IP range.  So, I'm damned if I do, and damned if I don't.  I'll just wait until after lunch to call him back...
    I did get a handy headset for my phone though, gone are the days of cocking my neck to the side to hold the damn phone.  While I now look like an evil telemarketer, I will no longer be getting stiff necks! 
    I suppose I should mention it, just so that whining bastard doesn't give me shit for not saying it, but Hector beat me 3 games to 0 last night...happy pig-fucker?  I'll at least make it hard for him to read!
