Baby's room is a room now

Joni wasn't having a good day today...she called me 5 minutes after I left the house and I could hear it in her voice that it just wasn't off on the right foot.  Later this afternoon I talked to her and the situation hadn't changed much...finally on the way home from work she called to tell me she'd be a little late...and a little late means at least an hour (I don't know how she put up with me working all those extra hours) so I decided she needed a pick me up.  I went to Burlington Coat factory and braved the..to quote Andre, "demographics" and bought the crib and dresser.  It was no picnic, the store is over crowded and understaffed or at least filled with staff that was too lazy to help.  I finally got a hold of someone who could help and of course he was no where near strong enough to bring out the furniture, he managed to get an assosciate to help him get it to the baby section, but that lazy bastard wouldn't help get it to the front of the store.  I had a few choice words for him that I shared with him and his manager after I had to carry the stuff to the front of the store...while still dressed in my work clothes.  Anyway, they had a dollie so it wasn't that big a deal...when I got home I stared at the 4 steps out front and the 15 to upstairs and hunkered down and just did it.  I don't think Joni took a breath the whole way up...she just stared at me.  The crib was nothing after carrying the dresser, that damn thing weighs a ton!  Anyway, we set everything up and put all the recently washed clothes away and made the room a little homier (sp?).

And where are the pictures to prove it?

It's a great feeling when the baby's room actually looks like a room! I can't wait to see pictures!
