Ugh...

I have to tell you..I didn't think it was possible for 5 days to fly by so quickly...I'm back at work after a merry Christmas.  We couldn't travel anywhere but I'll be honest, I enjoyed sleeping in on Christmas morning and the relaxtion leading up to that point.  My body was in shock that we didn't have 9 hours of driving leading up to Tuesday.  We got to do that last minute shopping and were able to get a few great gifts at a heck of a price and completed all our shopping Saturday.  Now I just have to sit back and wait for the credit card to cool down enough to check the balance on it.  I know we were higher then I wanted to be, but just how high remains to be seen.  I think we did pretty good all in all, but with Zack just around the corner I didn't want to go on a spending spree...

Speaking of which, we had another Dr appt yesterday and things are progressing along nicely, right now we're targeting a mid-January birth.  Joni is 1cm dialated and 80% effaced so they she is going to weekly Dr appts now to keep tabs on the progress.  We were worried that we'd be having a Christmas baby for a while there as the contractions were coming more frequently, but not enough to signify labor, just enough to be concerned, yesterday's appt put my mind at ease.  The last thing I want is a Christmas baby, everyone I know that is born on or around Christmas hates their birthday...but I already ranted about that so I'll let it go...  Anyway, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and that Santa was good to everyone.
