Joni's cousin passed away this past weekend, and being so far away makes it that much more difficult on us.  The one shining light was that we're close to his sister, Michelle, and were able to take her mind off of things for at least a few hours Saturday.  Because so many of family members are sick up there, I wouldn't let the baby go and in the end Joni felt that her going up there and picking up a cold to bring back was just as bad so we'll not make the funeral.  Even though we won't be there, our thoughts and prayers will be there for Glen, Anne, Michelle, Annie, Rodney and especially Hannah.  I've sent a prayer request in to our local church, and I would ask all of you that read this blog also say a prayer for GP (pronounced Jeep, short for Glen Paul) and his family.
