Baby update!
Well, you've all been so patient, I figured it was time I gave a baby update..since we actually have stuff to update on. The baby and mother are doing well! That is all....
Just kidding...that would be cruel. We had a checkup on Wednesday that Zack passed with flying colors! The Dr (who is wonderful by the way, if you need a pediatrician in Wake Forest, Dr. Ercolino is simply wonderful with our boy!) said he is gaining at exactly the rate they want, all the muscle and body function development is right on track and he looks great! We both took a sigh of relief, not that we were terribly worried, but you never know. When I go to the Dr (which is extremely rare), I usually shrug off whatever they have to say... I know my body and it tells me when something is wrong, but this child can't tell me anything so to get a trained professional's opinion is just a great comfort.
Joni is feeling better every day and able to do more and more. She still takes it easy and limits her trips up and down the stairs, which is good, but otherwise is pretty mobile around the house. I think she has another appt soon so I'll need to figure out when that is as I am still on chauffeur duty. We do have more pictures taken and I'll call her now and tell her to post them if she's not doing anything so check webshots for updates at some point today. Ok...break's over...gotta run.
