I know it's been ages since I've last posted...it's mainly because my days at work have started looking a lot more like my days in the private industry...70+ hours a week.  And if you spend that much time infront of a computer, the last thing you want to do is spend any more time at home. Instead I choose to spend my time on the floor with Zack, I think it's time better spent that way.  Our little guy is growing like a weed, I forget the numbers, but at his 9 month checkup he's still in the 92nd percentile for height and 50 for weight and head circumference...yup..still a goon.  He's getting around more and more these days, but still not walking...he wants to stand and tries every so often on himself, but when it comes to walking he wants someone or something to hold on to.  We're really in no hurry for him to be walking, it was hard enough adjusting to crawling.  He can now say "da da" which just melts my heart to hear it, unfortunately it really only comes out when he's screaming bloody murder when it's bed time. 

Zack was always a great sleeper, but in the past two weeks he's turned on us and just doesn't want to go to bed...it's been pretty much ever since he learned to stand up in his crib.  I knew what we had to do to break him of this, but Joni was not in agreement at all until we talked to Zack's Dr who had to go through the same thing with all 4 of his kids.  So you may have guessed it by now, we're trying the Ferber method.  I will tell you what, this is about the hardest thing I've ever had to go through in my life...your natural instinct is to run to his aid no matter what and hearing him cry for any reason is just more then I can take but it has to be done...  We're only on day two of this approach and he's been crying for 10 minutes now, but we're up to 12 minutes between checkups so posting may be just the right thing to keep me (and Joni) out of his room....we'll let you know how it goes.
