High Chair

10/28/09 @ 11:49 pm · By Joni Hoffman · Comments (0) · Leave one

I got home from the gym about 5:50 tonight. Steve was cooking dinner and Zack was watching Go Diego Go! so I started washing our lunch dishes. Zack came running in to the kitchen saying "Zack hungry" and "Zack eat". I told him Daddy was cooking dinner, it would be just a minute longer so to go and watch the rest of Diego. He came back about 5 minutes later and said "Zack eat chair". I said OK let me get you some fruit and I'll put you in your chair. He went over to the highchair and started pulling it to the kitchen table. Or so I thought. As I turned around from grabbing the kiwi out of the fridge, I see Zack standing on foot rest of his highchair (about 2 feet off the ground). Before I could really say anything but "Zack get down" he had turned around and was calmly sitting in his chair like "what are you so concerned about Mom, I do this all the time." I was almost speechless as I could just see him tumbling over off that foot rest that he was originally standing on. I still don't fully understand how he was able to climb up the chair. Maybe he is a monkey after all!
