Scared you
Ever since we rode on the carousel at the zoo and state fair, almost every morning Zack wakes up saying "blue horsey scared Zachary". He will randomly come out with this during the day too but it happens most often in the morning. I think he is having bad dreams about the "horseys". I keep telling Zack to tell Daddy all about his bad dreams and he'll make them go away so when I get him out of the crib in the morning I'll take him back to our bed so Daddy can make the scary horses go away. I figured if my Daddy always made my bad dreams go away then Zack's Daddy could do the same for him. I think that when it comes to scaring away the bad guys Dads just are better able to do that than Mommies.
Case in point - as I came downstairs this morning I heard Steve yelling at the yellow horse that Zack has in the living room to stop scaring Zack. Evidently, the horse was scaring him so Steve had to make sure it knew it was not nice to scare Zack and it should stop doing so as Zack just wanted to give it a kiss and hug. See - Daddy can handle it better than Mommy because when I got to the living room Zack was giving the horse a hug and kiss!
