Potluck

At school today Zack had a Thanksgiving lunch where all the parents brought in a dish and shared with the kids. It was a lot of fun. Janet (Steve's mom) is here for the week so she came with us also. We planned on letting Zack come home after lunch with his Grandma and that was a good thing as there is no way that Zack would have let the three of us leave without taking him with us. As it was I walked away from him for about 15 seconds when Zack was on the playground to let Janet know where we were and it took me 15 minutes to get the crying stopped and him calmed down after.

It was worth it though as all those kids are just so damn cute. They all washed their hands and sat down at the table like they were little adults. When we prayed before eating, every one of them folded their hands and bowed their little heads. It was great to watch them all interact with each other and didn't take long to see the "monkey see monkey do" attitude go around the table as they all had to be doing what the rest were doing. It served as a good (but sad) reminder of exactly how fast Zack is growing up :(
