Uuuugggg.....STUFFED!
It was a WONDERFUL Thanksgivng day! We have so much to be thankful for. Our family, steady jobs, our health, and our amazing child are just a few of the things that come to mind. I am so thankful that we were able to be in PA with my family - it seems like the time gets longer and longer between our visits to PA so I try to treasure each one (and yes, will work on coming more frequently).
Zack did great today. He got to spend time with some of my family that he hasn't seen in several months. He took to them as if he saw them last week. Zack loved petting Moses and Sumac and got more and more brave around them as the day wore on. One of the highlights of his day was playing outside with Uncle Butch and Papa. They were throwing a little yellow ball over this huge pine tree -- until the ball got stuck at the top. But then Uncle Scott came to the rescue and got the ball out of the tree.
Man oh man did we eat today. Gram out did herself again this year with all the delicious food! I had almost forgot what it is like to have a good Gram cooked meal. Everyone stuffed themselves and then hung out the rest of the afternoon looking through all the sales flyers for tomorrow. It was nice to get to spend time with everyone.
Zachary had another first today - his first day without taking a nap. He was pretty cranky by the evening time but was a trooper overall. We intended for him to take a nap but everytime we asked if he as tired he said no. I think that for his sake we won't let him go again anytime soon without a nap but it did work out OK today as there was so much new going on and so many people to occupy his attention.
Now, bring on the sale flyers (agian) so we can make our shopping list and see where the best Black Friday deals are! Zack is going to spend the day with Grandma, Papa, Logan, and Noah as Steve, Kristy and I are leaving here before 6 to go shopping!
