Well, I went to the dentist this morning, much to my chagrin.  I haven't really been in quite some time, but because Joni was so adamant about me going I bit the bullet.  I thought for sure I was going to get bad news of some form (the expensive form no doubt) but I didn't.  No cavities, or gingivitis or periodontal disease...just the encouragement to keep brushing and that I need to floss more!
When I got to work, I found out that one of our tech team is leaving, he is the one who handled the duties that I now hold.  It was kind of a shock, but I can understand why as he is from Ohio and wants to go back with his wife to be closer to both their families.  He's going to make quite a bit more money too, which is always good!  With him gone though, that makes me the HMFIC when it comes to tech!  And I'll probably take his office also as it has far more room, more power/ethernet ports and is sooo much quieter.  I'll wait a day or two before I bring that up to Colin though as it may be inappropriate timing.  I'm sure we'll all miss Brett though!
On a different note, I still haven't gotten my part from ebay...not that I am getting worried, but I never thought it would take so long for a package to get from Canada to here.  It's actually traveling less distance then from here to Vermont, but taking five times longer.   I'm dying to play with it again, but I don't think I'm going to get to until next week now since everyone will be here this weekend.
