Christmas tree

We had a productive and busy day. We got all our laundry done (how boring), went grocery shopping, finished staining the deck, pulled down all the Christmas decorations, put the Christmas tree up, decorated the house and went to take Zack's Christmas pictures. We also took the remaining scrap wood from the deck to the dump - yea!!

Zack had a great day. He peed in the potty again today and enjoyed his treat (an Oreo cookie) for doing so! We put a pull-up on him for the first time after so he ran around for most of the day with nothing on but the pull-up. For nap time, Daddy said that it was OK for him to go to bed without putting clothes on. We didn't think anything else of it until I went up to check on him and found him sound asleep wtihout a stitch on. He figured out how to rip off the pull-up and was peacefully napping with nothing on. After taking the required picture (for blackmail later in life) we put a diaper on him and let him finish his nap.

Steve took Zack's Christmas pictures so we could have outside ones. Zack did pretty good cooperating with us - especially after he figured out how to unwrap the candy canes and how delicious they are. He wouldn't take his Santa hat off after the pictures were done so he wore it all through Target and Walmart. I wonder how many years we can get out of the same Santa hat (this is the second one so far)?

It's back to the real world tomorrow -- uugghhh.
