Wonderful Monday

Zack's diaper was dry when we woke him up this morning so we put him on the potty and asked him to try and go. He looked down and kept saying "tinkle tinkle tinkle" but didn't go. Steve tured the water on in the sink and asked Zack to try to go one more time. Boy did he go this time! He looked down in the middle and was like "watch Yachary go potty". You could see the interest growing as he could see himself going potty. As he did go potty he got an Oreo cookie before breakfast as he earned a treat! I'll have to come up with a different morning treat so that he isn't getting candy before breakfast every day!

We went to see Steve's last ice hockey game this season toninght. It didn't start until 9:15 but Zack was a trooper and after we offered to take him to the game he wanted to "see Daddy play ice hockey". We got there before warm up time so I was able to get a picture of Zack with Steve all dressed up in his gear. As the game didn't start until so late we only stayed through the first period. He was good while we were there. He would yell "let's go blue team" and try to find Daddy on the ice. By the time we left he was ready to do. I think he actually told me "night night time" before I told him it was time to leave. He talked about the game the entire way to the car and went to sleep within 5 minutes of being home. I hate to keep him up so late but he gets so excited about seeing Daddy play ice hockey that how could I deny him the chance?!?
