We took Zack back to the doctor this morning. His eye is looking much better and the doctor thought the medicine was working just fine. The redish-purplish color spread to just under his eye but the swelling went down a lot. He is acting just fine. In fact he is being a terror today. He kept saying this morning "doctor kiss eye all better" and then "knock door come in doctor". He has this fascination with the doctor now and all day kept saying how we were going to go back to the doctor again to check on his eye.

We always said that when we had kids we wanted to get a Lionel train to put under the Christmas tree and then each year pick a new thing to slowly expand the set. In fact, I think it would be so cool (once Zack is big enough) to have a track so elaborate that it went through all the different rooms downstairs. Since we didn't start this last year, we went and got the train set today. It is the Santa Fe train set that has a engine, caboose, and 3 other cars. Zack loves the train!! He walks by and says "chug chug choo choo". I ran out to the store tonight and evidently Steve and Zack played with the train for most of the time I was gone. Zack already learned where the whistle button is and loves to push it and watch the train go fast.

Steve went out to the movies tonight with some of his friends so I had a quiet night at home. Well, it was quiet after the fire alarm went off upstairs because the battery was dying and needed to be changed. Why the alarm actually sounded off and didn't just start chirping I don't know but it did scare the crap out of me when it went off!! I am glad that I had some 9V batteries on hand so that I could change it and make the chirping stop.
