We went to the Carolina Hurricanes game tonight. They played the Dallas Stars. It was a great game. With something like 5 seconds left in the game Ruutu scored an empty net goal and completed his hat trick. Zack had a great time again tonight. There were open seats near us so he was able to sit in his own seat and we didn't have to pay for it! They gave away towels at the game tonight so Zack had a ball waving it around. He also wore his Santa hat to the game and was the cutest thing there. He made it on the jumbotron at the before the game but I didn't understand what Steve was telling me so I missed getting a picture of it. Since Zack and I shared Dippin' Dots the last time we came to a game, he thought he should have some again tonight so as soon he knew where we were going tonight he started asking for ice cream (yes we did get some). It amazed us but Zack stayed away for the entire game. He wasn't even that crabby.

When I picked him up from school tonight, Jennifer (his teacher) had a cute story to tell me. I guess today the class was discussing "What good things has God given us?". It was listed on the board as you walk into their classroom what all the kids said. Zack's list had "Mom and Daddy, Grandma, Jesus, and Grace". The funnier part was what Jennifer actually told me. As they were starting this discussion, she asked the kids what special things they had. Zack immediately said "DVDs". Jennifer wasn't sure she heard right so she asked him to repeat what he said. Zack said "DVDs Bear Movie". She then asked him what he did with DVDs. He said "watch movie" and after Jennifer asked him how he did that Zack said "watch movie on TV". What a knucklhead!
