New Year's Eve

12/31/09 @ 9:30 pm · By Joni Hoffman · Comments (0) · Leave one

Today was my last day of working at home while Zack's day care is closed. And boy was it crazy!

My company's support queue was backed up as the customers are getting prepared for all the changes coming in the new year so everyone was helping out with the support calls.Between this, trying to fix a critical issue, and watching Zack I was busy. I took a support call first thing this morning but the tech wasn't on site yet so I got to put that one back. I then got one who left a message saying they had questions on doing backups. I thought that I could handle that one but it didn't turn out as planned. It ended up being a three hour support call as I helped do their actual upgrade. I started when Zack went for his nap and luckily Steve was home before he woke up so I was able to finish the call without him being heard. I can't wait until day care is open and I don't have to be Mommy and a developer at once and I can separate the two again.

We are getting ready to hang out with Mark and Linda tonight to ring in the New Year. I am sure Zack won't see the ball drop as it is way past his bedtime. Now, let's just see if I can make it awake until the ball drops!
