Slow day
Well, FC2 is officially downloaded, and SuSE 9.1 is
downloaded and installed, but taking forever to update?!?! I need
a test machine to install Fedora on so I'll probably reformat my
workstation tomorrow...or maybe I'll see how well the upgrade process
goes...dunno? If you don't know what Fedora is, then I suggest
you learn to use google. At any rate, I'm excited to see how a
"properly" configured 2.6 kernel works as I built my own a while back,
but it's by no means optimized for anything. If I don't know what
a particular feature does, I usually include it cuz hey, ya never
know! I have to admit that I didn't do too bad a job on it..the
box has been running for 99 days and working it's ass off the whole
time, it could certainly be leaner though!
I've been doing all kinds of odd jobs today, packing leased equiptment to go back to the lessor, trouble shooting machines, learning new duties since Brett is leaving soon. The whole day has really dragged by though? I think it is because I had to work at 3 a.m. for maintenance and it went downhill from there. That wasn't too bad, I went immediately back to sleep when I was done, but I've been kinda slow ever since then.
I also missed my 11:30 run and I didn't want to go right after I ate lunch, so I'll be doing that shortly. Just not enough hours in the day!!!
