Flying High!

I bet everyone is wondering how my weekend went...it was awsome!  We crammed a ton of action into a two days time and I enjoyed just about every minute of it!  We left work early on Friday and picked up our rings finally and they look great!  While we were on that side of town we stopped by the dirt mound to see that they have sucessfully installed the curbs and it should be paved this week sometime!!!!
We grabbed a bite to eat and then were off to SC for the weekend.  We made it down in record time (minus the stop at Wal-Mart for random crap) and just hung out for the rest of the evening.  Saturday we got up early and went to the Air Show at the Charleston Air Force Base.  That was a good time, I have a shit load of pictures, especially of the Thunderbirds.  I'll be posting them tonight probably so look back around 9ish!  The airshow was hot, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves (despite the hour it took to get from the runway's to the exit).
We then went home and got the boat loaded up and went to "Short Stay", it's a navy owned recreational facility where you can bring your family and enjoy a day with out the normal headaches of beach/campgrounds.  It's kinda like a private resort, just not super fancy.  So Michael, my youngest brother went water skiing and the rest of us cooked and ate and just had a good time!
That night we went to see Shrek 2...Friggin' Hilarious!!!  I thought for sure it would suck, but...low and behold..it did not!  I wish mike went with us, but it was still nice...kind of like a tripple date, Debbie (my sister) and Dan (her boyfriend), Robbie (my brother) and Anna (his girlfriend), and finally Joni and I.  Mike would have gone but he wanted to bring his girlfriend and I can respect that.
Sunday was just as crammed as Saturday, but we still had a good time!  I got to see a few familiar faces at church then we went to Johnny's graduation (my cousin, note the spelling).  Graduation was graduation, but we went to a Greek restaurant for dinner and the food was mighty fine!  After dinner and cake, we started our trek home...and that was my weekend!

The End!
