User = Dumb

    Another wonderful user story today...I spent the last few hours trying to resolve a customer concern.  This customer, pays like nothing for all the services he receives and yet expects more attention then our best customers.  So I start looking at his problem and instantly curse the hell that is Windows 2003 Enterprise Server.  Only this time, to my surprise, M$ is not to blame.  He uses a service from mapquest to display maps on his webpage, well it wasn't working, kept complaining about an Invalid Client ID...well after two hours of trying everything I could possibly think of, I decided to call mapquest and see if they could give me more detail on the error.  So after 3 minutes on the phone with Tech Support...it turns out that our rocket scientist of a customer, forgot to pay his bill!  Thanks for wasting my time, schmuck!
    Other then that my day was going surprisingly well.  Came in this morning and didn't have any hard drive failures, no system crashes, no locked out webpages, no hacked machines  or really any issues that would cause me to turn around and walk right back out!  I think I'm going to go for a run in a few minutes, it's been so damn hot at noon that I don't want to push it and run myself right into a heart attack.  But I'm still going strong at a solid two miles a day, I could probably go further, but I'm happy where I'm at right now.  Maybe after the wedding I'll pick it up a little.
    I really need to find an RC track around here so I can have a little more fun with my baby.  I enjoy the construction site's and all, but there are just to many dangerous obsticles in the way to go all out.  My shocks should be here today and if they aren't I'm gonna be quite upset...that will have given them 4 days to travel from Utah to here, I've had stuff from California make it here quicker!  My next and final (for a while anyway) purchase will be an aluminum clutch which should grab a little better then the cheapo nylon one that comes with it!  I'll never understand why companies skimp in the most obvious places?
    And one more thing, THANK GOD American Idol is over tonight!!  I only wish the show lost enough popularity over the summer to NOT have another season next year!  I doubt it though...
