What a weekend!  Joni's surprise went off without a hitch, she didn't even know what hit her!!!  Her parents and sister came down from Pennsylvania and we were communicating through code to rendezvous at one of the fancier local restaurants, Jimmy V's Steakhouse.  We got to the place and the waitress tried to sit us at the wrong table, I saw her parents sitting down so I politely said this isn't our table and walked over to the other one.  The look on Joni's face was simply priceless.  I believe she was in shock for most of the meal, but I could be wrong on that.  I have a couple pictures and will post them eventually at the photo gallery (see link to left)
    We did the selections for our house so we are another step close to being proud home owners!  They even said they might be able to finish the house in October (two months early) depending on the weather cooperation.  To be blatently honest, I don't even remember half the colors, but the outside will be a silvery grey with deep blue shutters (or is it shudders?), and the roof is black....other then that it's all kind of hazy! 
    Today was spent pretty much loafing around.  The only time I really got off the couch was to go out to dinner and to do laundry.  I think the week should include one more day to dedicate to such loafing, perhaps around Tuesday or Wednesday.  I'll work on that!
