I'm sure you are thinking "What the hell does that title mean?"; if you are, don't be ashamed, but know that I am not going to take the time to explain it.  That basically graphed out last week and the start of this week.  Let's let X represend the days of the week, while Y will represent how busy I am in % with 1=100%.  Monday would be (0,0) and Friday was definately the peak (0,1) so as you can see the workload will significantly decrease until Thursday (when I leave for PA) where it will become negative!  Just thought I'd show you all what a big nerd I am!
So I've been home alone for two days now, it isn't all that bad, I can walk around in my underwear, scratch myself and belch whenever I wa...well I guess I could do that anyway.  I am getting plenty of quality time with my RC Truck, which is always good!  So anyway, Joni did make it up to PA on Saturday, no problems other then the ripoff known as MD gas prices.  I on the otherhand led an even more uneventful weekend, I did absolutely bupkiss (sp?) and loved every minute of it.  Tonight I'll debate upgrading my server to the latest release of Fedora, a Linux based operating system.  I don't really have that big a problem with the one that is currently installed, but I like to be bleeding edge and it has been bothering me for about a month now that I haven't upgraded.  (Those who know me well enough know that I have to have the latest and greatest!)  I do have a few other things I can do so maybe I'll just behave and leave well enough alone.
If you were wondering about the last post I made that was the readout from my server's uptime.  I think 118 days is pretty darn impressive, I'd like to see any of you windows people brag about that kind of uptime!  And it's not like Phil's machine with a load average of .01, that's pathetic!  This baby has to sing for her supper!  I don't think I've ever listed all the functions it's performing.  Let me see, Apache Webserver, Tomcat Java Servlet Engine,  IMAP email server (with virus filtering and SPAM detection), Domain Controller, MySQL database server, DHCP Server, Firewall, Router, DNS server, File server and I'm sure a few other odd jobs that I can't remember.  Why do I have it doing all that?  Because I can!  I bet your machine is used for little more then games and reports, what a waste of computer!
