Well, the tally is in...and if I see that woman from the Golden Palace who tried to convince us that we would more then recover what the wedding cost us, I'd slap her ass around the room a few times!  Not to say that we didn't receive alot of money and gifts and I certainly don't want to sound ungrateful, but she was so sure that if we spent $6K to have the reception there we'd more then make it back...she would be dead wrong!  We do now have the grueling task of writing roughly 150 thank you notes, which I never look forward to but know they must be done.  I don't plan on saving ever penny of the wedding money either, there were a lot of presents that Joni had her heart set on that she didn't get and I know that it is my duty to fill that order for her!  I think I'll hold off until we get the house to go hog wild filling orders, but that should only be two or so months out!! 
    Speaking of which, we go thursday to walk the lot with the builder, he'll have stakes set out so that we know where the house will sit in relation to everything else.  Then we fork over the remaining $1500 and they start on our house.  It's quite an exciting time and with all the traveling we'll be doing between now and September, it will make the time pass so much quicker! 
    Finally, our digital camera is about to shit the bed so we'll be in the market for a new one.  I don't have many requirements, but the ones I have are pretty picky.  I want >3X optical zoom, I would like it to come with a rechargable battery that charges while it's transferring pictures to the computer, relatively small, and a well known brand.  So if you have any recommendations lay them on me, we already like the Casio that dave has, but it doesn't handle action shots well (neither did ours), which I guess technically is another requirement.
